Dear Guest,
We are delighted to welcome you and your pets to Country Inn & Suites, Moody, Texas.
To ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all guests — human and animal alike — please review and sign the following Pet Policy Agreement.
By signing below, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with the policies outlined herein. These guidelines protect our property, guests, staff, and pets while maintaining a clean and pleasant environment for everyone.
1. General Policy
- Only domesticated dogs and cats are permitted. No exotic pets, reptiles, rodents, or birds.
- A maximum of two (2) pets are allowed per guest room.
- A non-refundable pet fee of $25 per night (or $100 per week) will apply for additional cleaning and sanitation.
- Service animals, as defined by the ADA, are exempt from pet fees but must comply with all behavior and safety requirements.
- Pets must be declared at check-in. Unauthorized pets may result in a $200 cleaning fee and possible eviction without refund.
2. Leash & Supervision Policy
- Pets must be leashed or in a carrier in public or common areas.
- Pets may not be left unattended in rooms or vehicles at any time.
- Owners must remain in control of their pets. Excessive barking, aggression, or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the premises.
3. Vaccination & Health Requirements
- All pets must be current on vaccinations (rabies, distemper, parvovirus, and bordetella).
- Proof of vaccination must be provided upon request by management.
- Pets with fleas, ticks, or contagious conditions are not permitted.
- Guests are financially responsible for cleaning, pest treatment, or repairs resulting from their pets.
4. Restricted Areas
- Pets are not allowed in breakfast areas, fitness centers, pools, or laundry rooms.
- Pets must remain at least 15 feet away from farm animals, service areas, and maintenance zones.
- Guests must use designated pet relief areas only and clean up immediately after their pets.
5. Damages & Liability
- Guests are responsible for all property damage, injury, or loss caused by their pets.
- This includes damage to hotel furniture, flooring, bedding, or landscaping.
- Any damage will be charged to the guest’s credit card on file, plus a $100 administrative fee for inspection and repairs.
- The hotel reserves the right to seek reimbursement for additional costs exceeding any deposit or insurance coverage.
6. Enforcement & Removal Policy
- First violation: Written or verbal warning.
- Second violation or severe incident (injury, property damage, safety threat): Immediate eviction without refund.
- Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent bans from Country Inn & Suites properties.
7. Indemnification Clause
By signing this agreement, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Country Inn & Suites, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your pet’s behavior, illness, or actions during your stay — including, but not limited to, injury to persons, animals, or property.
8. Guest Responsibility Acknowledgment
By staying with us, you acknowledge that:
- You are the legal owner or custodian of the pet(s) listed below.
- You accept full financial and legal responsibility for your pet(s).
- You understand that violation of this policy may result in eviction without refund and additional charges as necessary.
